Hoover Whole Foods Store To Close
The Hoover Whole Foods location in Riverchase Village will close, according to an announcement this week.
HOOVER, AL — After a two-year run, Whole Foods announced it will close its Hoover store in Riverchase Village. The store opened in October 2017.
The other Birmingham metro Whole Foods, located in Mountain Brook's Cahaba Village, will undergo renovations, according to a press release by the company.
"After careful consideration, Whole Foods Market has decided to close our Hoover, Alabama store and focus on serving the community by renovating our nearby Birmingham location," the company said in a statement. "This decision is not a reflection of our passionate Team Members who have worked so hard to satisfy and delight our Hoover customers. We are working closely with all impacted Team Members and hope to place them in nearby locations or find them other roles within the company."

A specific date for the closure of the Hoover store was not revealed.
