Sixers’ Patrick Beverley Not-So-Subtly Cracked Open a Beer After Win, and Fans Loved It

Patrick Beverley had the perfect way to celebrate a Sixers blowout win Monday night: a postgame beer.

Beverley celebrated his 12-point performance in a 45-point win over the Wizards in style, cracking open a Miller Lite in front of reporters prior to a postgame press conference. Beverley brought the can of beer into the room in a nondescript Sixers-branded cup, then pulled it out to crack it open and pour himself a cold one while he answered questions from reporters.

That elicited plenty of laughter from the journalists in the room, but Beverley was stoic, acting as though he wasn’t doing anything abnormal and producing this hilarious video.

This also isn’t the first time he’s done this. In 2022, while playing with the Timberwolves, Beverley brought a Bud Light into the media room, producing a hilarious image of him holding a beer as Anthony Edwards refueled with a Gatorade.

It’s yet another way that Beverley has endeared himself to fans around the league. Philadelphia has quickly adopted him as one of their own.
