Will Smith's return to rap continues with the release of his new Nicky Jam x Era Istrefi collab. "Live It Up," the official song of 2018 World Cup Russia, also features production by Diplo.

"It's an honor to be asked to perform at the 2018 FIFA World Cup," Smith said in a statement. "This global event brings people from all over the world together to cheer, laugh, and experience magic. Collaborating with Nicky, Diplo and Era on this track represents harmony, eclectic flavors, and genres coming together. At the end of the day, we just want to see the world dance." The track's official video is set for release next month. Smith, Jam, and Istrefi will then perform the song at Luzhniki Stadium July 15.

Earlier this week, Smith alerted the planet that he recently "got the beast back" and has resumed "creating wildly" across multiple mediums. "At my peak, I was down a television show, a movie, and an album every year so it was, like, churning out that kind of creativity," he said. "What happens is you get to a point where you get empty." Now, however, Smith has clearly been re-energized.

Smith's last full-length studio release was Lost and Found way back in 2005. Last October, Smith and DJ Jazzy linked for "Get Lit."
