18-year-old woman assaulted with bottle on Brooklyn subway

An 18-year-old woman was hit in the face with a bottle during a dispute on the subway in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, police said.

The victim was struck during a verbal argument with a man on an N train at the 36th Street station in Sunset Park at about 9:10 p.m., according to cops.

It was not immediately clear what the two were feuding over.

The woman suffered a laceration to her face. She was taken to Lutheran Hospital for treatment, authorities said.

The suspect, last seen wearing a white shirt and tan pants, fled the station.

He was at large as of early Thursday.
