Earlier this month, a clip began circulating of Uma Thurman refusing to offer a “tidy soundbite” to Access Hollywood about the sudden movement to expose sexual misconduct in Hollywood. “I have learned that when I’ve spoken in anger I usually regret the way I express myself,” Thurman said, “So I’ve been waiting to feel less angry. And when I’m ready, I’ll say what I have to say.” Now, in a brief-yet-fiery Thanksgiving message on her Instagram page, Thurman has shared a direct statement regarding Harvey Weinstein and his “conspirators,” saying, “I’m glad it’s going slowly—you don’t deserve a bullet.”

The message was accompanied with a photo of her from Kill Bill: Volume 2—specifically the iconic “I am gonna kill Bill” scene—which, of course, was a Miramax movie produced by none other than Harvey Weinstein and directed by longtime Weinstein collaborator Quentin Tarantino (who admitted in October that he was aware of Weinstein’s alleged behavior and didn’t do enough to stop it). In other words, it seems like a very pointed image to use for a number of reasons, and her use of “stay tuned” at the end of the message indicates that she’ll have more to say at some point.

Thurman later shared general messages of support to the women who had reached out to her:
