A West Point cadet killed during a training exercise has been laid to rest at the academy's cemetery.
The funeral for Christopher J. Morgan Jr. was held Saturday at the United States Military Academy.
An estimated 1,500 people attended the service, which included a speech by former president Bill Clinton, WABC-TV reported.
Morgan's father, Christopher Morgan Sr., had been part of the president's security detail.

West Point's Commandant of Cadets, Maj. Gen. Steve Gilland, called the 22-year-old 'an exemplary classmate and teammate' and said the young man from West Orange, New Jersey, was 'tremendously proud to be a cadet,' according to the AP.
Morgan was killed last week when a tactical truck overturned on the way to a military training camp. Nineteen cadets and two soldiers operating the vehicle were injured in the accident.
At West Point, Morgan studied law and was on the Army's wrestling team. He grew up in West Orange, New Jersey where and was a standout wrestler at the city's high school, where mourners filled the gym earlier this week to grieve and honor the fallen soldier.
'I want the world to remember him as somebody who took care of other people and put other people first,' Christopher Morgan Sr. said during the Tuesday night service.
'He was my first child. He was my hero. He helped make me into a better father. He made me a better person.'
