Gabi Grecko reveals the tragic detail about her 'husband' Geoffrey Edelsten's death

Gabi Grecko, the estranged wife of recently deceased Geoffrey Edelsten, has been left devastated after the colourful businessman died on their wedding anniversary.

The 32-year-old stylist and former prostitute shared the sad detail about his death as she posted a screenshot of a Daily Mail article on her Instagram page on Wednesday.  

The snippet focused on a specific paragraph that detailed the coincidental date of the 78-year-old's passing.

'He passed away on our wedding anniversary this makes it ironically more (sad)' said Gabi in the caption, who swapped out the word 'sad' with a sad face emoji. 

The post prompted several followers to send messages of support to outrageous blonde.

'I don't know either of you, but from an outsider looking in you could tell he really loved you. Even though you were not longer together, I'm positive that it still aches,' said one, who Gabi responded to with a heart. 

'I actually feel sad that he's passed,' said another, who Gabi also replied to with, 'was so out of nowhere.'

Gabi also shared the article twice in a series of Instagram stories, along with several pictures of the couple throughout the course of their relationship.   

Gabi has been extremely vocal since Geoffrey's death on Friday.

She claims she is now 'widowed' as they were 'still married' when he died.

In a since-deleted post on Monday, Gabi said she was in with a shot at a slice of his fortune. 

Geoffrey was found dead by a cleaner at his Melbourne apartment on Friday, June 11.

The couple dated on and off for five years, before marrying in Melbourne in 2015.
