Bernie Sanders has recorded 2020 presidential announcement video

Get ready for a sequel to “Feel the Bern” — maybe.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has recorded, but not yet released, a video to announce he’s running for president in 2020, Politico reported, citing unnamed sources.

The independent’s team has also been holding interviews to fill top staff positions, according to the news site. They’ve reportedly been speaking with Means of Production, which filmed a campaign vid for Bernie’s bud Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Bronx and Queens), about a big role in the 2020 election.

Sanders, a self-proclaimed “democratic socialist,” was the runner-up for the Democratic nomination in 2016. He’s widely viewed as a key figure in the party’s leftward tilt since then.

It’s not clear if or when Sanders will release his new video.

A group called “Our Revolution,” which Sanders founded to “reclaim democracy for the working people of our country,” is raising funds for an effort to draft Sanders, Politico reported.

If he declares, Sanders will join an already crowded field vying for the Democratic nomination, including Senate colleagues Cory Booker (N.J.) Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Kamala Harris (Calif.) Amy Klobuchar (Minn.) and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.).
