Trash Collection Contract To Change In Birmingham Metro
Some cities in the Birmingham metro area will have a new trash collection service provider.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Several communities in the Birmingham metro area will have a new trash collection service provider this year, as Republic Services has taken over the contract from Waste Pro USA. A report from the Birmingham Business Journal said residents will be able to use their same recycling and waste containers.
Cities in the Birmingham metro area that will now be serviced by Republic are:
- Alabaster
- Birmingham
- Calera
- Chelsea
- Columbiana
- Hoover
- Mountain Brook
- Pelham
- Trussville
