Celebrities pay tribute to Naya Rivera after her body is found

Hollywood paid tribute to Naya Rivera on Monday, the same day her body was discovered at Lake Piru in California, where she went missing last week.

Jane Lynch, who appeared on “Glee” with Rivera, called her former co-star “a force of nature” on Twitter.

“Rest sweet, Naya. What a force you were. Love and peace to your family,” Lynch penned.

Janel Parrish of “Pretty Little Liars” also posted, “Rest In Peace and power, Naya.”

Rivera, whose career spanned 29 years, including six seasons as Santana Lopez on “Glee,” vanished Wednesday while boating with her 4-year-old son Josey. Rivera was 33 years old.

In addition to Lynch and Parrish, Trinity the Tuck penned, “Sending much love and positive thoughts into the universe for Naya’s family!! RIP.”

Fellow “Glee” alums Josh Sussman and Max Adler also reacted to the tragedy on social media.

“💔 Naya, you will be missed so much,” Sussman wrote, while Adler posted a handful of crying and heart-break emojis.

“Hey, July 13th….🖕,” Adler added, noting the seventh anniversary of co-star Cory Monteith’s death.

In July 2013, Monteith died from an accidental drug and alcohol overdose at the age of 31.

Rivera is survived by parents Yolanda and George Rivera and siblings Mychal and Nickayla.
