Despite being one of the last four at-large teams to get a bid to the 64-team NCAA baseball tournament, Michigan is one of eight teams still standing.

The Wolverines’ open College World Series play Saturday against No. 8 Texas Tech, continuing their magical late-season run by beating No. 1 UCLA in a best-of-three Super Regional over the weekend.

MLive’s “Wolverine Confidential” podcast is back this week to recap the nail-biting series win over UCLA and a look ahead to the matchup against Texas Tech.

Plus, Juwan Howard has finalized his staff with the addition of Howard Eisley from the New York Knicks.

The football team also had another player enter the transfer portal last week. This time it was receiver Oliver Martin.
