CANTON, MA — Dunkin' announced it will release its pumpkin coffee and fall menu absurdly early this year — Wednesday to be exact. The company will roll out its pumpkin menu at restaurants in eight cities, including a Boston location at 510 Southampton St. Starbucks has yet to announce when it's bringing back its pumpkin menu.

"Eight Dunkin’ restaurants will make the start of pumpkin season clear to all by changing the store’s signage from Dunkin’ to Pumpkin’ and serving free Pumpkin Flavored Coffees and pumpkin-scented (Munchkins) lip balm," Dunkin' said in a statement.

Dunkin's fall menu will expand to the rest of its locations Aug. 21. Fall, the way, starts Sept. 23.
