A Colorado man was arrested after he allegedly threatened to go “killing as many girls as I see” because he was a virgin and never had a girlfriend, authorities said.

Christopher Wayne Cleary, 27, was nabbed by Utah police at a McDonald’s in Provo after he made the disturbing comments on his Facebook page, according to the Daily Herald.

Cleary allegedly wrote “All I wanted was a girlfriend, not 1000 … not a bunch of hoes … I’ve never had a girlfriend before and I’m still a virgin, this is why I’m planning on shooting up a public place soon and being the next mass shooter cause I’m ready to die and all the girls the turned me down is going to make it right by killing as many girls as I see.”

Another post allegedly said, “There’s nothing more dangerous than man ready to die.”

Police were made aware of the comments after several women reported them, according to the report. There was even more cause for worry because of the nationwide women’s marches planned over the weekend, including in Provo. Cleary was visiting the city for the weekend and staying in an Airbnb.

Arrests records show he was charged with threat of terrorism.

Cleary allegedly admitted to writing the Facebook comments to police, but said he was “upset and not thinking clearly when he did so.” He also reportedly made suicidal comments during the police interview.

He was serving a three-year probation term at the time of his arrest from a January 2018 felony conviction for stalking and making a repeated communication of domestic violence, according to Jefferson County District Court records.

Calls to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office were not immediately returned Monday.

Alek Minassian, 25, was charged with 10 counts of first degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder.

Cleary’s threats against women, blaming them for his own sexual inexperience, draw comparisons to recent incidents.

Alek Minassian was charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder after ramming a van into a crowd of pedestrians, mostly women, last year in Toronto. Officials later learned he referenced a misogynistic online community before the attack.

“The Incel Rebellion has already begun!” he wrote, using the term incel to refer to “involuntarily celibate.”

Minassian also praised Elliot Rodger, a 22-year-old who killed six people and wounded 13 more near a California college in a 2014 attack.

Rodger, who said he was a virgin, made multiple threatening comments online against women prior to his attack.

“You denied me a happy life, and in turn I will deny all of you life,” he said in a Youtube video titled “Elliot Rodger’s Retribution.”

“I hate all of you,” he continues. “If I had it in my power, I would stop at nothing to reduce every single one of you to mountains of skulls and rivers of blood.”

Rodger turned a gun on himself after his attack.
