THE NEW Tesco Express store in Merrywalks was due to open today, Thursday, February 22.
However, there have been slight delays - a sign on the door reveals it will open on Saturday, February 24 at 10am.
A Tesco spokesperson told the SNJ: "There will be a slight delay to the opening of our new Stroud Express store.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and will keep the community updated.”
