A Texas boy who raised over $25,000 by selling hot chocolate has donated his proceeds to help fund the Mexican border wall.

Benton Stevens, just 7 years old, of Austin began his fund-raising venture in February, hawking hot beverages for $2 a pop in front of a shopping center.

For big spenders willing to pony up an extra 50 cents, they were entitled to a large “Nancy Pelosi” marshmallow with their drink. Smaller marshmallows or “Beto O’Rourke” treats, were free of charge, reported TV station KTRK.

A sign in front of his stand read: “Proceeds help Trump build the wall.”

“He’s an entrepreneur,” said Benton’s mother, Jennifer. “I guess it’s just born in him. I don’t know.”

After watching President Trump’s Feb. 5 State of the Union address with his mom, the child was inspired to show the president his patriotism.

“I watched it, and I saw he needed help building the wall,” said Benton. “I decided I should do a lemonade stand, and then it got cold that day, so I decided to do hot chocolate.”

Benton contributed his hard-earned cash to the nonprofit group We Build the Wall, which claims the cost to construct a half-mile-long span of fencing will be between $6 million and $8 million.

But not everyone believed Benton’s cause was worthy.

“A guy yelled hat him and called him a little Hitler, so he knows that there are people against it,” said mom Jennifer. “He still wants to do it. He stands by it and we’re going to stand right by him.”
