Snow is falling across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley Friday morning.

Global News meteorologist Mark Madryga says it will be wet and in some places mixed with rain.

“It certainly will be a messy morning here in the Lower Mainland as we’ll have snow accumulate, especially at higher elevations. Right down near sea level temperatures are a little above freezing, certainly some rain mixed in there. But still expecting five to up to 10 centimeters of sloppy wet snow by late this morning in parts of Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.”

“This afternoon though a little clearing will take over, believe it or not, and we’ll shoot up to about five degrees.”
