SANTA ANA — A 40-year-old bicyclist fatally struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana was identified Sunday by the Orange County coroner.
Marcos Monzon of Perris was hit by a vehicle about 10:15 p.m. June 11, on a sidewalk in Santa Ana.
He was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center, where he died about two hours later.
The crash near Fairview and Harvard streets was being investigated by Santa Ana police. The vehicle driver had remained at the scene and called police.
