Steven Monsalve had a goal and an assist and the Lowell High boys soccer team defeated Dracut, 3-1, on Saturday in a Merrimack Valley Conference matchup.

Joshua Dos Santos and Jonnathan Lopes also scored for the Red Raiders.

Midfielders Kaleb Gianini, Evan Tu and Bu Reh played well, as did defenders Julian Jimenez, Matthew Griffith and Val Thawnghmung.

BILLERICA 2, HAVERHILL 1  Joe Haggerty had a goal and assisted on the game-winner by Cam Salter for Billerica.

Goalkeeper Riwaj Singh played well for Billerica.

Girls soccer

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 2, NORTH ANDOVER 2  Adrianna Marinello and Kaley Romansik had the goals for Central (8-1-2).

Carly LaFerrierre and Sydney Wnek had assists.

WILMINGTON 3, WATERTOWN 0  In a game played Friday, Wilmington improved to 5-1 with the victory.

Amber Flynn, Ella Wingate, and Alyssa Granara had 1 goal each, while Tori Gemellaro recorded her third shutout in the Wildcats’ net.

Field hockey

CHELMSFORD 6, TEWKSBURY 1  The Lions capped off an unbeaten season, thanks to 6 different goal scorers on Friday.

Sam Palumbo, Maddie Priestly, Emily Stagnone, Lexi D’Angelo, Sofia D’Agostino and Shea O’Leary all scored. Palumbo also dished out 2 assists, while D’Angelo had 1.

Senior captain and goalie Morgan Wright had 4 saves in the CHS net, while Olivia Ferriera shined for the defense.

Girls volleyball

HAVERHILL 3, BILLERICA 1  Set scores were 22-25, 25-22, 25-14 and 25-16.

Kailey Roche had 23 assists for Billerica. Grace Jones and Abby Iozzo played strong defense in the back row, and Stephanie Sardella chipped in 10 kills.

Cross country

A SPLIT FOR TYNGSBORO  In a meet held Friday at the 2.80-mile Willard Park, the Tyngsboro girls defeated Parker, 15-49, while the Tyngsboro boys lost to Parker, 22-33.

In the girls race, Tyngsboro’s Julie Vincent was the overall winner in 20:08. The Tigers took the top 6 spots with Emma Hartigan, Emma Duarte, Brylee Betty, Audrey Mahon and Bella Duarte.

In the boys race, Tyngsboro’s top finisher was Max Gregoire in 4th with a time of 15:44.
