Tom Brady shared a tribute to Danny Amendola’s Patriots career

For Tom Brady, Danny Amendola was more than a teammate.

The Patriots quarterback shared a six-photo Instagram gallery to honor his “friend” and “brother” after reports detailing Amendola’s two-year, $12 million contract with the Dolphins emerged Tuesday.

Brady captioned the post, “Teammate. Friend. Brother. Leader. Champion,” and included Amendola’s number, 80, and nickname, “Danny Playoff,” as hashtags.

The two played five seasons together in New England.
