Police Identify Homicide Victim In Annapolis: Report

Annapolis police identified the victim of Saturday's fatal shooting, a report said. He was from Glen Burnie, the write-up added.

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Annapolis police identified the victim of Saturday's fatal shooting as 25-year-old Marc Terrell Hill Jr. of Glen Burnie, the Capital Gazette reported on Monday. This was the city's first homicide of 2021.

Officers explained that they found the victim around 7:33 p.m. lying in the breezeway of an apartment complex in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive. Medics flew the victim to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he died from his injuries, a press release added.

The Annapolis Police Department is still investigating the shooting. Detectives offered a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment.
