Frederick police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Friday morning.
Police responded to a crash that killed the driver about 10:55 a.m., according to a news release from the Frederick Police Department.
It is unclear whether there were any passengers in the vehicle.
Officials closed County Road 7 between County Road 18 and County Road 16 after the crash.
The road, also called Aggregate Road, closed for an extended period of time, according to the news release. Officials did not respond to requests for comment before publication Friday with updated information about the investigation or road closure.
County Road 18 is also known as Godding Hollow Boulevard and County Road 16 is also known as Tipple Parkway in the area.
