Boulder’s Emergency Family Assistance Association is looking for new and unwrapped gift donations as part of its annual Holiday Gift Room fundraiser, meant to provide gifts to families in need across the county.

“As many of us return to ‘life as normal,’ our low income neighbors will feel the financial aftershocks of the pandemic for much longer,” EFAA wrote on its website. “Families who are working to get back on their feet need help to make the holidays special for their children.”

The Holiday Gift Room is open to all those who have received services through EFAA in the past year.

Puzzles, arts and crafts supplies, action figures, dolls, sports equipment, educational toys, stuffed animals and cosmetics are among the organization’s greatest needs. Gifts can be for children any age through 18.

Donations are accepted on weekdays, starting Monday through Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop gifts off at 1575 Yarmouth Ave. in Boulder but stop at the loading zone on 16th St.

EFAA does not accept used items. Donations must be new. Additionally, gifts must be unwrapped so parents can select age and gender-appropriate gifts. EFAA is unable to accept books or clothing.
