A driver was killed inside an Ohio parking garage after her head became trapped between her car and a payment machine, authorities said.

Surveillance video from the scene showed the young woman dropping her credit card outside the vehicle as she tried making a payment at the Columbus garage around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

When she reached down to pick up her card, she accidentally stepped on the accelerator and the car moved forward, trapping her head between the machine and her vehicle, according to multiple reports.

The victim, identified by The Columbus Dispatch as 23-year-old Victoria Strauss, was found by a security guard just before 6 a.m. Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
