Tysons Stop Added For Bus Route To New York City

Go Buses is the latest bus service adding service from Tysons to the Big Apple.

TYSONS, VA—Go Buses announced Monday it has begun offering service from Tysons to New York City.

The Tysons stop is part of the route between DC/Northern Virginia and New York City. It is located at the Tysons Corner Metro stop (Bus Bay A). Fares start at $18 for one way.

"GO Buses continues to enhance its service by adding this affordable and convenient transportation service to these significant business, travel and tourism destinations," said Francis Tedesco, president of Academy, which owns Go Buses. "We always look to choose unique stops in this competitive, yet bustling market, and the new Tysons Corner stop is the latest part of our overall commitment to provide cost-effective bus service to destinations in the areas we serve."

The Tysons stop joins five others in DC and Northern Virginia going to New York City. Other stops include L'Enfant Plaza and Eastern Market in DC; the Eisenhower Avenue Metro Station in Alexandria; the Vienna-Fairfax Metro Station in Fairfax; and the Manassas Commuter Lot in Manassas. The bus drops off passengers in Midtown Manhattan on 30th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues.

The Go Buses network serves 13 stops in the DC, New York, New Jersey and New England areas. The buses offer free Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, a restroom, luggage space, reclining seats and bottled water. Customers can buy tickets and see schedules at www.gobuses.com.
