President Donald Trump rallied with supporters in Pensacola, Florida on Friday night, urging them to continue fighting for his agenda.
“This is your land, this is your home and it’s your voice that matters the most,” he said. “So speak up and be heard, and fight, fight, fight for the change you have been waiting for your entire life.”
Trump spoke for about an hour and twenty minutes at the rally, repeating familiar campaign themes about trade, jobs, and national pride.
“Our revolution didn’t end on November 8th, that was just the beginning,” he said. “The greatest adventure still lies ahead. Never give in, never give up, never back down, and never ever stop dreaming.”
The president appeared energized by the crowd, who welcomed his return to the rally stage with roars of approval.
“Now we are all proud deplorable, we’re proud deplorables,” he said as the crowd roared. “Very proud.”
The president touted two incidents of fake news from CNN and ABC News — after both issued corrections for false reports about the president in just one week.
Trump hasn’t held a campaign rally since September, when he took the stage to campaignfor Sen. Luther Strange. But he urged supporters to back embattled Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore in Alabama, who beat Strange in the primary.
He boasted of successes during his administration, particularly on news surrounding jobs and the economy and the forthcoming tax cuts to come out of Congress.
“I took this job on behalf of the forgotten men and women in our country,” he said. “But guess what? They are forgotten no more.”
