If 2018 gave us one undeniable truth, it’s that the Queer Eye Fab Five are totes adorbs. Trust and believe, you all have at least one Queer Eye crush (that Season 3 beard is doing you all the right favors, Bobby Berk)! The show did not need an extra cute cherry on this already gorg sundae, but guess what? You’re getting one! That sweet little cherry is Bruley, Queer Eye’s new mascot. Come through, Bruley, come through!

Who is Bruley on Queer Eye?

Bruley is a little French bulldog that obviously stole all five of the Fab Five’s hearts, and now he’s gonna steal yours too! How can you resist? Just look at him! He’s giving you squish, he’s giving you stout, he’s giving you lots of pouts if you come near him with a plate of food (just ask the Fab Five). If the Queer Eye guys were the breakout stars of 2018, then Bruley is 2019’s.

Where did Bruley come from?

I’m going to guess the Cute Factory in Cutesvile, Kansas (which is just a few miles outside of Kansas City)? Okay, but seriously, you get Bruley’s Queer Eye origin at the end of the Season 3 premiere, when Antoni and Jonathan introduce him to the world. It turns out, Bruley’s mom works on the same floor as the Fab 5 Loft in Kansas City and Bruley just comes and goes as he pleases. Bruley doesn’t venture out on shopping trips with Tan or trust exercises with Karamo. Instead, he hangs out in the loft and pops in and out of those segments, usually at the end of the episode while the Fab Five watch the episode’s hero prepare for their big event.

Is Bruley on Instagram?

You bet he is! He’s @bruley on Instagram and it is exactly what you need to see in your feed.

There were already a million reasons to love Netflix’s Queer Eye, and now there are a million and one.
