On the Oscars red carpet on Sunday, the Aquaman actor responded to the fifth grade Girl Scout using his shirtless photos to sell boxes of Samoas. After being asked about the cookies, aptly renamed “Momoas,” the actor told ET, “I love Girl Scout cookies! I was like waiting to get some free ones. I’d love some.” In a shocking twist, Momoa revealed he’s actually not a fan of his namesake caramel coconut treats but prefers Trefoils instead. “I want the shortbread and then you gotta put those in the freezer and that’s the best way,” he said on the red carpet alongside his wife Lisa Bonet. The boxes, which were actually Holmberg’s mom’s idea, have reportedly been selling like crazy ever since. “The moms are getting really excited and they’re saying that they need them!” Holmberg told Denver’s 9News last week. “The girls will want to buy some because he’s on the front. And the boys will also wanna buy some because he’s like, he might be like their favorite character.”
