Charlie Balducci, ‘True Life’ Star, Dead at 44

Charlie Balducci, who appeared on MTV‘s True Life: I’m Getting Married, has died at age 44, TMZ reports. The reality star died unexpectedly at home in New York, according to his mom, who told the outlet that her son was not sick.
Balducci was found unresponsive in his bed last Saturday (July 25), and was seen in earlier that morning at around 2 a.m. Law enforcement later found him at 9 p.m., and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. No cause of death has been determined.
The True Life star made his reality TV debut on the series in 2001, when MTV filmed him for four months leading up to his wedding to Sabrina Balducci. One of his most memorable moments from True Life happened when Balducci lashed out at his limo driver for showing up late on his wedding day.

“Do you have any fucking clue who you’re talking to right now?” he asked the driver. “Besides the fact that it’s my fucking wedding, I’ll fucking cut you … I will gut you like the fucking piece of shit that you are, do you understand? Don’t you fucking dare come after me like that on my fucking wedding, ’cause I’ll hunt you down like fucking cattle and I’ll gut you, do you understand?”
Balducci eventually made it to his wedding, but he arrived two hours late.

Balducci and his wife, who were one of three couples featured on True Life, were married for more than a decade and had two teenage sons together. Before Balducci died last weekend, he told his mom how grateful he was to have his kids, she told TMZ.
After his infamous appearance on True Life, Balducci went on to create a nonprofit organization called NycArtsCypher, which uses art and entertainment to “promote positive values,” according to its official website.
