Man Shot While Exchanging Item Sold Online: Sheriff's Office
Cherokee Sheriff's Officials said a man was shot Sunday while he was exchanging a pair of shoes he sold online.
ACWORTH, GA — A man was shot Sunday after he was about to exchange a pair of shoes he sold online.
At 2:30 p.m., Cherokee Sheriff's deputies responded to a person shot call at the Hidden Falls Mobile Home Park, 6359 Bells Ferry Rd. in Acworth.
When deputies arrived, they found Diamond Fane, 24, of Kennesaw, lying in a doorway.

Fane had a gunshot wound to his chest and arm, and was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He is in stable condition.
Fane said he drove to Hidden Falls, where his girlfriend lives, after being shot earlier at the Waldan Pond apartment complex on Bells Ferry Road one mile south of the mobile home park.

Deputies said the unknown shooter fled in a gold Infiniti, which was later found abandoned off of Wooten Lake Road in Cobb County.
Fane told detectives the meeting at Waldan Pond was for an app sales transaction of a pair of shoes. Fane said a man took his shoes and then shot him. No further description of the suspect could be provided.
