Powerball jackpot grows to $750M

Who wants to be a mega-millionaire?

The Powerball jackpot soared to a whopping $750 million on Sunday — after no one picked the lucky numbers in the latest drawing.

No ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s drawing, which were: 24,25, 52, 60 and 66, with a Powerball of 5.

That means the drawing for the fourth-largest Powerball in US history will be Wednesday. The cash value is $465.5 million.

Odds of winning are roughly 1 in 292.2 million — but that didn’t stop New Yorkers from flocking to bodegas Sunday morning to buy tickets.

“There’s nothing wrong with hoping, particularly with this economic state we’re in,” said Samuel Morales, 51, a property manager who lives on the Upper West Side.

“You never know!” he said after purchasing a Quick Pick from the Downtown Smoke and Lotto on Livingston St. in Brooklyn.

No one has won the Powerball jackpot since the day after Christmas when a 56-year-old Brooklyn trucker named David Johnson raked in the $114 million lump sum.
