STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.-- Ariana Grande has one last sentiment for her ex-fiance “Saturday Night Live” star and Great Kills native Pete Davidson: “Sorry I dipped.”
Grande released her highly-anticipated video for “thank u, next," a track where she directly addresses her exes. Throughout the video, Grande uses the theme of popular films “Mean Girls,” “Legally Blonde,” “Bring It On” and “13 Going on 30” to support the single. In the beginning of the video, Grande writes about Davidson in her “Burn Book” saying “Sorry I dipped” and “Pete, I love u always.”
Below is the original photo of the pair. In the video, Grande covered Davidson’s face.
Another portion of the video shows Grande in full Regina George character pushing a man with blonde hair into a locker. Davidson and Grande split in October after being together for five months. “Thank u, next” has kept the number one spot on the Billboard charts for three weeks straight.
