Olivia Wilde and Ellen DeGeneres give Jason Sudeikis a haircut

There’s only room for one lob in the Wilde-Sudeikis household.

Ellen DeGeneres invited Jason Sudeikis on her show on Monday, where she and the “SNL” star’s partner of six years, Olivia Wilde, decided to surprise the actor with a little trim.

The talk show host, 61, queried Sudeikis about his shoulder-length hair — which he was growing out for a film shoot which has since been pushed back — asking, “Does Olivia like this?”

While the 43-year-old comedian wasn’t sure about Wilde’s opinion, the “Vinyl” actress, 35, promptly popped out from backstage to set the record straight. “There’s only room for one of these in our house,” she said, gesturing to her own coif.

The pair ultimately convinced a reluctant Sudeikis to let them do the trim themselves, despite having zero prior hairdressing experience. DeGeneres and Wilde each tackled separate sides of the actor’s head, with Sudeikis pleading, “Just watch my ears.”

“Do you like the idea of a mullet?” DeGeneres joked.

Despite his stylists’ total lack of skills, the final cut wasn’t all that bad, and will benefit a good cause to boot. When DeGeneres shaved Patriots receiver Julian Edelman’s beard recently, the clippings were auctioned off, ultimately raising around $8,000 for charity.

The Emmy winner promised to do the same with Sudeikis’ trimmings — although, as the actor pointed out, “You’ll probably get more for his beard than my hair.”
