Alabama third-string quarterback Mac Jones was arrested Friday morning and charged with driving under the influence, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

The freshman was also charged with improper ID by a minor.
The 19-year old Jones was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Jones was involved in a car accident with another vehicle and then failed a field sobriety test after police officers discovered that he was intoxicated, said Tuscaloosa Police Department spokesperson Teena Richardson.
No one was injured in the car accident.
Officers also found that Jones was in possession of a fake identification, according to Richardson.
Bond was set at $1,000 for the DUI and $300 for the second charge.
Jones, who hasn't seen any playing time this season, has been suspended for Alabama's game against LSU on Saturday.
"We are disappointed in Mac's actions and this is obviously not the kind of behavior we expect from our players," coach Nick Saban said in a statement. "... We will further evaluate what actions we need to take moving forward so we can correct the behavior. It is a privilege to represent The University of Alabama and there are certain responsibilities that go along with that privilege."
Jones is one of the Crimson Tide's two freshman quarterbacks, along with backup QB Tua Tagovailoa. The Florida native was a three-star prospect and the No. 18 pro-style quarterback in this year's recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
