Two Teens Among Those Arrested In Gwinnett County Man's Murder

Police say Marcus Gilead​, 28, was sitting in his car in the driveway when several people shot him during an attempted armed robbery.

LOGANVILLE, GA—Officers with the Gwinnett Police Department have charged three people in connection with the deadly shooting that occurred at a home in Loganville Monday night. Sebastian Resendiz-Garcia, 17, Miguel Gonzalez, 20, and Abraham Quintanar, 15, are facing multiple charges, including murder. Police say all three suspects are from Loganville.

The shooting happened Monday night along the 3200 block of Wrenwood Court in Loganville, according to police. After arriving on scene, police say they say they found 28-year-old Marcus Gilead suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital from his injuries.

Police say they believe Gilead was sitting in a vehicle in his driveway when he was approached by the suspects, who investigators believe intended to rob him.

Resendiz-Garcia and Gonzalez have been charged with murder, aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Quintanar, the 15-year-old suspect, is being charged as an adult. Police say they've obtained warrants for him for the very same charges his accomplices face. According to police, Quintanar is not currently in custody.

"He is aware that the police department is looking for him and is actively evading arrest," police said in a news release. "He is considered armed and dangerous and has affiliations with local gangs. Detectives are requesting that people call the police department immediately if they have any information on his location."
