This is one time you don’t want someone to catch your fall.

A New Jersey man was busted for a bogus insurance claim after he was caught on surveillance video throwing ice on the floor and then pretending to slip on it, authorities said Thursday.

Alexander Goldinsky, 57, was arrested in mid-January and charged with insurance fraud and theft, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. Goldinsky, an independent contractor, had been working for a company in Woodbridge when he carried out the scheme.

In the video, he can be seen tossing ice on the floor in the company’s cafeteria and purposefully laying himself down.

Video showed Alexander Goldinsky tossing ice on the ground and then faking a slip.

He then waits to be found.

Goldinsky filed a false insurance claim for the ambulance service and hospital treatment between Sept. 1, 2018 and Nov. 1, 2018, the office said. He was arrested on Jan. 15.

“Fraudulent claims cost everyone and we will aggressively prosecute those who illegally manipulate the system.” Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said in a statement.

Goldinsky, of Randolph, was released on a summons. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 7 in New Brunswick Superior Court.
