Queens woman shot by police hit with menacing, knife charges

A Queens woman who was shot in the abdomen by police on Friday night — allegedly after threatening them with a knife — has been charged with menacing a police officer and criminal possession of a weapon.

Lydia Spicer, 49, of Queens Village, remains in North Shore University Hospital.

She was near her 212th Street address when uniformed cops saw her outside a carwash “acting erratically,” police said. She was shot and Tasered after coming at the officers with a knife, police said.
