Loudoun South Little League Team Plays Aug. 7 In Regionals

ASHBURN, VA — An incredibly talented and hardworking team of Little League baseball players from South Riding, Va., in Loudoun County have been battling it out on the diamond in the 2019 Little League Baseball World Series regional games.

The team, which is part of the Loudoun South Little League, played Aug. 2 against North Carolina, winning 7 to 1. They played again Aug. 3, beating South Carolina 12 to 3. They fought hard in the Aug. 5 game, narrowly beating Georgia by one run, 6 to 5.

The Virginia team will play Wednesday, Aug. 7, in the southeast region's final game 14 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. They are going in as the 12th seeded team. To watch the hometown team rally and stay alive, tune in to ESPN online.
