One month after she was allegedly placed in a chokehold by the NYPD, Cardi B says she was removed from a hotel by police officers over accusations of smoking weed.

According to the New York Daily News, Cardi was staying at the Hilton Albany over the weekend after performing at the Times Union Center on Saturday night. A spokesperson for the Albany police told the Daily News officers were called to the hotel around 1 a.m. on Sunday to address “an odor of marijuana and loud party on the second floor.” A video shared by TMZ shows Cardi leaving the hotel with entourage and shouting “racist motherf***er” before knocking an object out of the hands of an unidentified male walking beside her.

“The floor that I was staying in in my hotel room, it smelled like weed,” Cardi explained in a now deleted Instagram video. “So the cops came in the middle of the night, knocking on my manager and on my door, talking about that we were smoking weed and we gotta get kicked out.”

“Now, if you know me, I don’t even talk about smoking weed because everybody knows that I do not smoke weed,” she continued. “I get very paranoid and none of my team members smoke weed. If they was to kick us out for something else, all right, but for weed? I’m not taking that because we do not smoke . . . You’re not going to do that to me. Mind you, everyone on the floor was Caucasian. But you wanna kick us out? F–k out of here.”

A source confirmed with Us Weekly that Cardi and her team “were the only people of color on the floor.”

It’s been a seemingly rough weekend for Cardi, who also broke up then made up with boyfriend Offset (or did she?) according to social media posts. Here’s to a better week for the “Bodak Yellow” star.
