CINNAMINSON, NJ — A CVS store near Cinnaminson is among 21 additional New Jersey stores that will institute drive-thru testing for the coronavirus, the pharmaceutical company announced. It is located at 700 Broad Street in Riverton, and testing begins on Friday.

The new test sites are among a new wave of sites CVS is opening across the country to prepare for a second wave of coronavirus cases. CVS will open more than 2,000 new sites nationwide as part of this phase, bringing the total of CVS stores that offer testing to 4,000, according to the company.

“Since opening our first test site in March, we’ve been able to quickly adapt to the changing landscape in order to make it easier for people in the communities we serve to access testing,” CVS Health Chief Operating Officer and CVS Pharmacy Acting Vice President Jon Roberts said. “We recognize the critical role testing plays in helping to manage the spread of the virus and are incredibly proud of how our teams have responded to this need while continuing to take care of our customers, clients and patients.”
