Move it on over #Puppygate, there’s a new reason to walk away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A new report from Daily Mail claims that Denise Richards has walked away from the Bravo series (which would be a total travesty as it is, considering what an incredibly strong first season she had last year) for a super wild reason no one saw coming — an alleged relationship with former BH ‘Wife Brandi Glanville.

While Glanville made a brief appearance during the show last season (dining with Richards), apparently the cast members revealed the ladies’ “months-long affair” during the cast trip to Rome in November. It was at that point that Richards “basically walked away” when she was confronted with the information, according to production sources. The rumors include tidbits such as: their affair lasted for the entire first half of 2019, that Richards told Glanville she and husband Aaron Phypers (yep, that one) had an open marriage (and Glanville was surprised and hurt to learn that was a lie), and that this all went down on camera so viewers will see it play out on the upcoming season of the Bravo series.

Richards’s rep stated that “The story isn’t true,” but Glanville has been raising a lot of eyebrows with her recent tweets, which guarantees that even if this story doesn’t play out on TV, it will go down on her social media feed.

Richards was an exemplary Housewife in her rookie season, never afraid to open up about her sex life, including happy ending massages, and letting viewers in on personal moments including her wedding to Phypers and parenting her daughters, to even setting a place at the Thanksgiving table for her ex Charlie Sheen’s prostitute girlfriend. This speculation remains surprising, considering Richards appeared to be an open book (and happily so!) at every turn.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to premiere early this year on Bravo.
