Monday on Sean Hannity’s radio show, author and Breitbart senior editor-at-large Peter Schweizer discussed his new book, Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends.
According to Schweizer, the corruption among the higher ranking American political class from the likes of former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, Mitch McConnell and John Kerry makes former Louisiana Democratic Congressman William Jefferson hiding hundreds of thousands of dollars of bribery money in his freezer look like “peanuts.”
“Gone are the days of the shoe boxes full of cash,” Schweizer told Hannity. “We’re now talking about large private equity deals of billion dollars or more that are enriching people on a massive scale and, of course, there are strings attached with that money and I think it’s undermining the decision making in the country.”
