President Joe Biden said in Pittsburgh that a bridge collapse in the city earlier Friday showed the urgency of his plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars to rebuild U.S. infrastructure.

“We’ve got to get on with it. We’ve got to move,” Biden said in remarks after touring the site of the Fern Hollow Bridge. “We don’t need headlines saying that someone was killed when the next bridge collapses.”
