One of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” is tying the knot with the daughter of the “Terminator.”
Chris Pratt announced on Instagram early Monday that he has proposed to Katherine Schwarzenegger, and that she said “yes.”
“I’m thrilled to be marrying you,” the movie star wrote to his 22 million followers as he included a photo of the couple embracing. “Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Schwarzenegger can be seen wearing a shiny ring in the photo. She later wrote: “My sweet love. Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.”
The couple started dating last year. Pratt, also the star of the “Jurassic World” franchise, was introduced to Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter by one of her relatives, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Pratt had split with actress Anna Faris in 2017 after eight years of marriage. They have a young son together named Jack.
Faris offered her congratulations on Instagram: “I’m so happy for you both!”
Pratt, 39, had helped Schwarzenegger, 29, move from her California home on Friday, according to People.
“They’re both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future,” a source told People recently. “Chris doesn’t just date to date, and neither does Katherine. She’s very excited.”
