NYPD cop possibly hit with brick at George Floyd protest shares gory photo

An NYPD supervisor lost a tooth — possibly from a thrown brick — during violent protests in Brooklyn Friday night, according to police sources.

Lt. Robert Corbett, who works in the legal department of the NYPD, is seen with a bloodied mouth and blood-stained shirt in photos taken sometime after the altercation. The images were posted to Corbett’s Facebook page and obtained by The Post.

“So … my face is a brick magnet,” Corbett captioned the shots. “Apparently word travels fast so thanks everyone for reaching out. My head hurts and it’s a little hard to talk.”

He was among several cops hurt as Big Apple protests over George Floyd’s police custody death in Minneapolis, MN, erupted  into fiery confrontations Friday.
