Huffman High School Basketball Star Stanley Robinson Dies At 32

Former Huffman High School, UConn and Orlando Magic basketball player Stanley Robinson died Wednesday morning.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Former Huffman High School basketball star Stanley Robinson died Wednesday morning at the age of 32. Robinson played college basketball at the University of Connecticut and then in the NBA with the Orlando Magic.

Robinson's cause of death has not been released.

Robinson was the 2006 Mr. Basketball in Alabama, and went on to UConn where he totaled 1,231 points, 776 rebounds and 130 blocks, leading the Huskies to the 2009 Final Four.

He was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NBA draft by Orlando and also played professional ball in South America, most recently for Español de Talca in Chile.
