Massachusetts Firearm Fugitive, With Priors, Arrested In Nashua
Kevin Gonzalez of Lawrence was arrested Thursday and is accused of assaulting a family member with a weapon and firing a gun near a home.
NASHUA, NH — A Bay State man was arrested in the Gate City on a fugitive from justice charge out of Massachusetts. Kevin Gonzalez, 23, of Lawrence, MA, was arrested Thursday on the charge. Lawrence police, according to Lt. Brian Kenney of the Nashua Police Department, wanted Gonzalez on assault and battery with a deadly weapon and assault on a family or household member, both felonies, as well as discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, a misdemeanor.
Gonzalez was held without bail pending extradition back to Massachusetts. He is expected in Nashua District Court today.
Three and a half years ago, according to the Lowell Sun, Gonzalez was arrested on kidnapping, domestic assault and battery, witness intimidation, illegal possession of ammo, and other charges, after being accused of brandishing a firearm and dragging his girlfriend out of a Lowell home a day after having a fight with her.

Kenney requested residents who might know someone who might be wanted on warrants or wanted on charges to contact police directly with information at 603-594-3500 or the problem oriented policing unit at 603-589-6106.
