“We are continuously looking at opportunities to expand the number of vaccination sites to meet the high demand for vaccine in McHenry County,” said MCHD Administrator Melissa Adamson. “As more vaccine begins to flow into the county, additional locations will open including drive-thru sites.”

There are several options for residents to receive vaccine. Some regional hospital systems, clinics and other community partners are administering vaccine and may reach out directly to their patients to schedule an appointment. There are also state and federal partnerships with retail pharmacies in McHenry County. Anyone may enroll at those sites to be vaccinated.
