2 Alabama players set to attend NFL draft

Two of Alabama's NFL draft prospects will be in Dallas for the NFL draft.

Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick and linebacker Rashaan Evans are among the 22 prospects that accepted invites to attend the draft, it was announced on Thursday.

Both are widely expected to be first-round picks.

In his most recent mock draft, the NFL Network's Charley Casserley had Fitzpatrick going No. 7 overall to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Evans going No. 28 overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The other players attending the draft are LSU running back Derrius Guice, Iowa cornerback Josh Jackson, Florida State safety Derwin James, UCLA offensive lineman Kolton Miller, UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith, Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, Washington defensive lineman Vita Vea, Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward, Texas offensive lineman Connor Williams, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, Louisville cornerback Jaire Alexander, Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen, Penn State running back Saquon Barkley, Florida defensive lineman Taven Bryan, NC State defensive lineman Bradley Chubb, USC quarterback Sam Darnold, UTSA defensive lineman Marcus Davenport, Virginia Tech linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and Central Florida linebacker Shaquem Griffin.
