A Greggs store in Southampton has closed for a month to undergo a refurbishment.
Pastry lovers need to look elsewhere for their favourite baked goods following the temporary closure of Greggs in Bitterne.
The popular store will be ‘refreshed’ – but the national brand will not reveal details about any changes.
A poster on the door of the bakery reads: “Crumbs!
“Sorry, we’re closing for a refresh.
“We’ll be closed from April 10 until May 3.
“Your nearest shop is Unit J2, Antelope Park, Southampton.”
It comes after Greggs opened a store in Hedge End last month, much to the delight of city residents.
The store on the site at Hedge End Trade Park was previously occupied by Pizza Hut, Gourmet 4 food hall and KFC.
