It's tradition at Auburn University to roll the trees at Toomer's Corner after a sports victory like the Iron Bowl or an SEC championship.

Or, apparently, a U.S. Senate election.

On Tuesday night, some Doug Jones supporters rolled Toomer's tree in honor of his upset win over Republican Roy Moore. Photos of the toilet-paper adorned trees began circulating shortly after the race was called in Jones' favor.

While the Dec. 13 rolling wasn't the first time the trees have been adorned for a political victory, there is a wrinkle in the Jones' celebration: the former federal prosecutor is a 1976 graduate of AU rival The University of Alabama.

Not everyone approved of the idea, however.
